Welcome to the South Thames Acute Pain Group’s website.

The South Thames Acute Pain Group (STAPG) committee organises an annual conference usually in the first two weeks of November.

The conference is open to all who have an interested in acute pain management and is of particularly interest to Consultant Anaesthetists, Pain Management Specialists, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse Consultants, Physiotherapists and Pharmacists.

Thanks to both Martin Kuhn and Bob Buist from the Medway NHS Foundation Trust for organising the 14th South Thames Acute Pain Group Conference. This had a varied and interesting programme, and was a well attended meeting.

The 15th South Thames Acute Pain Group Conference will take place on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th November 2009, and is being organised by the Pain Service at Imperial College.
